I live in Chongwe District, Kankatapa Area and am a teacher of a Grade Five Class at Evergreen Basic School. I am also a longstanding member of the Epilepsy Association of Zambia.
On 12th February, 2018, I organized a health talk on Epilepsy and two classes were combined to listen to this talk. The pupils had a lot of questions about epilepsy and I helped them to understand what epilepsy is and its causes.
After the talks, we had a football match where the two classes played against each other.
I feel happy to be part of this year’s celebration and this was just the beginning. I hope to do better next time and to take photos of the events.
