To mark International #EpilepsyDay 2016 we ran a major photo competition with the simple, but uplifting theme ‘Yes, I Can’. We had an overwhelming response in our two categories, pictures taken by cameras and those by phones/tablets. More than 300 entries were received from all around the world.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that the winner of the Photo Competition phone category and US$ 1,000 is Alessandra Prada from Italy and her photo of her husband, Stefano, and their son, Leonardo (8) ‘Enjoying the Ride’ at an amusement park. Leonardo has Dravet Syndrome and clearly has a joy for life, judging by the beautiful picture.
