En la fecha del 12 de febrero se celebra el INTERNATIONAL EPILEPSY DAY (DIA INTERNACIONAL DE LA EPILEPSIA) Es una gran fiesta para 54 millones de personas con epilepsia en el mundo y sus familias. Imagínense que, si cada persona con epilepsia tiene una influencia sobre 10 más, que es el medio familiar en el mundo, tendremos la bobadita de 540 millones de personas comprometidas con la epilepsia en el mundo (dos veces la población de los Estados Unidad o 101/2 veces la población colombiana).En América Latina hay 5 millones de personas con epilepsia (Fuente ILAE), o sea 50 millones con los familiares más cercanos. Y en Colombia (fuente:IBE) hay 800.000 personas con epilepsia (20 por mil), es decir, 8 millones con los familiares (la quinta parte del pueblo colombiano). Qué estamos haciendo por estas personas?. Unámonos todos y hagamos el propósito, en este fausto día, debemos comprometernos más y más. Movamos el país, es tan importante como la política.
Ese día, hagamos una reunión con los familiares y pacientes, hablemos con las autoridades. Hagámonos entrevistar de la prensa y la radio y comprometamos las autoridades. Hagamos pendones y papelitos. Enviamos un saludo escrito a las familias y dignatarios ( con el logo que les mando) y , quienes viven en los pueblos( Embajadores de la Liga) congreguemos los pacientes y familiares y que se conozcan y sepan de la Ley 1414 de 2010 y que hagan comunicación con el presidente del capítulo o del presidente nacional (el suscrito). Movamos el alma de otros, sin vender el dolor.
Les envío el logo del Día Internacional de la Epilepsia y la Ley 1414 de 2010 para que la repartan o se hagan asesorar de un abogado para dicte EL DOCE una conferencia a las gentes.
